3 more schools win gold award

Congratulations to Ysgol Tudweiliog, Ysgol y Gorlan and Ysgol Uwchradd Botwnnog on achieving the Welsh Language Charter Gold Award!

This award is well-deserved recognition of the commitment, enthusiasm and leadership shown by the pupils, staff, governors and the wider school communities in promoting Welsh as a living, everyday language.

The success of all three schools reflects the outstanding work taking place to create a culture where Welsh is a natural part of school life and is used confidently by pupils both inside and beyond the classroom.

Thank you for the warm welcome during the visits, and special thanks to the Siarter Iaith pupil groups for their enthusiasm and leadership. The Gold Award is a testament to the commitment, energy and vibrant Welsh-language culture that exists across Gwynedd’s schools.
